2016 Weingüter Wegeler Riesling Charta – Rheingau, Germany –

Nose: Notes of flintstone, crisp apple, pear, and lime. 

Palate: Acid dominates residual sugar. Powerful wine with mineral driven finish. Notes of petroleum, lemon, and honey. 

Notes: 
The term Charta refers to the wine being picked from more than one prime vineyard site in an effort to make a quality dry style riesling.
Fruit is hand picked by multiple harvest runs. 
Cuvée from the middle of Rheingau region. 
Best drank at 10 to 12 ℃
