Growing up in the Willamette Valley, my love for wine was instilled into me at a young age. I have always been fascinated with what makes a great wine great. For me, the pursuit of knowledge in the wine industry became a passion, something I will forever seek to learn more about.
The thing is, not everyone who loves drinking wine is like me. For so many people out there they don’t want to become a sommelier. They just want to know what it is they like. They want to know how to look at that never-ending wine list and know the questions to ask to find the perfect bottle. The truth is most people have no interest in becoming that “stuck up wine snob” and neither do I. I believe in keeping things humble and simple. Wine should be fun and inviting.
My goal throughout this blog is to simplify the world of wine. To help you make informed and confident decisions. Giving you the information you need to stand in that wine aisle and stop purchasing wines just because of the cute label.
